Clive Lucas is the adoptive dad of Michael Lucas. He is married to Lindsey Lucas, though he is not faithful. He is one of the prime suspects in the investigation surrounding Trish Winterman's rape.

Clive dropped out of uni, where he was studying to become a doctor in order to support Lindsey who had fallen preagnant and had been left by the father of her unborn child. That is why he works as a taxi driver.

He does not have a good relationship to his son, getting angry with him easily. They are on the same football team, together with Leo Humphries.

He is the taxi driver who brought Trish to Cath's 50th brithday party, where she is raped. He had previously been rejected by her, after he had misread some signals.

He did not have an alibi for the night, claiming his radio broke. Clive changes his story about what he had done that night several times. Suspicion against him becomes stonger when Trish's keys are found in a drawer in his garage.

Further evidence against him is the sock which was used to gag Trish. It is a sock from the football team he is on, together with his son.

In the end it is revealed that it hadn't been him who had raped Trish, but his son Michael. All Clive had done was drive both his son and Leo Humphries, who had groomed Michael into raping Trish, back from the party where they had done it. When the detectives find out, he beggs them to say that it had been him and not his son.
